WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO KEEP CHILDREN SAFE
Child Safeguarding refers to the responsibility of an organisation to ensure that all the children it engages with are protected from the risk of or actual harm. Child Safeguarding involves putting into place certain protocols and practices to ensure that the organisation’s representatives, programmes, and operations do no harm to the children it engages with.

Why does it matter?

Children in Hong Kong engage with many services and activities every week
Clear policies, trained people, and safe processes prevent harm to children
When concerns arise, knowing what to do protects children and their best interests
